Afroditi is one of the founders and creators of Flava Dance Studios 2003

Creating a home for street dance and contributing to bringing the culture to the Adelaide scene. 

An original member & founder of the Flava Crew 1996; Afroditi has been in the industry for over 27yrs & has danced for more than 35yrs. An amazing director, passionate teacher, choreographer & performer. 

Dancing in the original crew at clubs, competitions and corporate events, Afroditi acquired her dance and performance skills working within the entertainment industry, dancing support acts for celebrities such as Deni Hines, Human Nature, CDB, Kulcha, Killing Heidi, J-Wess, N-Trance, Run-DMC and Montell Jordan.

Touring SA and Australia for shows such as “Lost in Vegas” & “Ell-vis” to performing in Burlesque shows, film clips and commercials. 

Afroditi has a Bachelor Degree in International Business at Flinders University and is also a qualified Fitness Instructor with the Australian Institute of Fitness.

Her passion for street dance led her to contribute endless hours of self training to the dance form and further pursued training in the style, experiencing Hip Hop culture all around the world.

Training in LA with some of the very best choreographers in the world, she continuously updates her skills by training and taking part in master classes and workshops with renown National and International teachers & Choreographers. The privilege of working with this calibre of artists keeps her inspired while dancing and contributes a fresh approach to her style and teaching methods.

She has also coached & competed in The Flava Crew 2003-2014: one of the most successful Hip Hop/Street crews in SA, taking part in National & International Competitions and winning many titles.

Passionate about street dance & teaching, she pushes her students to the best of their ability. She continues teaching weekly dance classes bringing the best out of every student. 

Afroditi truly believes that happiness is achieved with a balanced mind and body and finds that the freedom of Hip Hop allows the individual to do this. Her desire to impart the knowledge she has obtained through her years in dance and fitness is evident in every class she teaches, and is encapsulated in the ethos of the dance school.

Afroditi has had the privilege of seeing many of her students grow into amazing successful dancers, performers and teachers. She continues to inspire daily as she shares her passion and choreography with her students. Loved by so many, she is a bright energetic light sharing her love throughout her classes and on the dance floor.
