Dress in loose comfortable clothing.
Tracksuits, Basket Ball shorts, singlets, T-shirts.NO skirts or jeans are allowed. Sneakers must be worn at all times.
Jazz boots are only to be worn in Street-Jazz classes.
Heels Class – Any style of heels can be worn, boots, wedges, pumps MUST BE; thick sole – NO Stilettos.
Students must bring a drink bottle to keep hydrated at all times.
Flava Dance Studios aims at portraying an image of professionalism within the Dancing Industry. We have created a range of street wear to suit students of all ages. Wearing Flava Merchandise creates a feeling of belonging to the Studio and supports the Flava Family. You can purchase your Flava merch on our online store.

Students are given the chance to perform twice a year at the end of Terms 2 and 4 at Flava’s Mid- year and End of year showcases in July and December.
These performances are not compulsory, however, it’s an amazing opportunity for students to experience a professional show whilst having fun and demonstrating to parents and friends their achievements.

Costumes and a showcase fee incur once a year for Flava’s end of year show. Costumes are initially purchased by us and kept to a minimum; they are yours to keep once you’ve paid for them.

Auditions are held yearly giving dancers the opportunity to be a part of a crew to compete in State, National & International Competitions.

We do not have classes on public holidays. Class will resume the following week as usual.

Flava Dance Studios hold open workshops in Jan, April, July and October. This is a great opportunity to experience all levels and styles.
Flava workshops are fun and energetic taught by some of the best teachers in SA.
